1957 Chevy 210 2 door Sedan w aluminum insert WIP

I've started this WIP and have a lot of parts in various stages of painting.  I read the SA review by Chuch K as a starting point.  The body looks a little bit short to me in the trunk area but that may just be me. There are a lot of extra parts and I think I got an extra tree from the 55 Chevy.  I have two each of the radiator, firewall, exhaust pipes and exhaust manifolds. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind getting extra parts but I always wonder what a beginner would do with this kit. The instructions make no reference to the extra parts but it is a bit confusing.

There is a nasty parting line at the back of the trunk in addition to the usual parting line around the headlight buckets and inner fender well. Since I am going to paint tropical turquoise I used Colorplace flat white as my primer and then painted the black pieces with Colorplace flat black. I'll use some lacquer clear on the parts that should be gloss, such as, the air cleaner and a few other parts. Sure is nice to paint when there is low humidity.  Even Colorplace flats come out better! Engine block is Tamiya Orange.  Thanks for looking! Cool
