enamel and lacquer paints

hey all,

i'm just wondering. i have a bunch of enamel primer because that's what i primarily use is enamel, but my wife just recently picked me up a bunch of paint that i needed, however some of the paint that she got me was lacquer paint. what i'm wondering is can i use the enamel primer with the lacquer paints or will they adversely react to each other?
